The sixth research campaign of the BONDS project took place the second week of December 2021 (05/12/2021 to 10/12/2021) by Dr. Evita Kalogiropoulou (PI) at the premises of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Alexandroupoli. The campaign aimed at an initial evaluation of the material remains of combustion features from the Neolithic tell site Makri. During this research campaign Evita tracked the preserved material at the storerooms of the Ephorate of Antiquity of Alexandroupoli, she identified the spatial study units, she completed preliminary shorting at the complete assemblage of material remains, and she organised her study and sampling strategy for the site.
