The project focuses on four selected Middle and Late Neolithic case study sites from northern Greece, including Thessaly and Macedonia, where a dense concentration of Neolithic settlements provides a rich data set for examination. The sites include different forms, such as tells and flat-extended sites, and are distributed in western, central and eastern Macedonia, and Thessaly. These are Kleitos 1 in Kozani, Makriyalos in Pieria, Makri in Alexandroupoli and Imvrou Pigadi in Phiotida.
